What do you think of the software?

Hi Norman,
I like the software. For anyone's curiosity, it is available as a free download (leaves watermarks so save under a new name) to try.

Initially, tried the software after reading reviews, liked the potential but postponed "committing" due to the fact it was supplied on a rental, per month basis. Recently, Photolemur's approach changed and allowed for outright purchase, which I did. They've just finished updating the software (at no charge) and the results are noticeably better, although I couldn't fault the previous results.

Personally, my preference is to shoot in RAW format and through Adobe Bridge use Camera Raw and Photoshop in post-processing. This post-processing route allows me to clean the image (sometimes I have a lot of cleaning to do!!) but they generally the "finished" image never seem to "pop". This is where I find Photolemur fits in, it seems to bring that edge to the final image. I had previously tried some Photoshop "actions" and various other add-ons but didn't find they gave me the same edge as this piece of software.

There's no doubt the Adobe package can probably do this but, at this time, that's beyond my expertise with respect to the myriad of embedded options available. So, perhaps, Photolemur is an easy way out, rather than spending more time learning and practicing Photoshop but you've got to have time to enjoy the hobby and capture those images to process.

Thanks, Al
