These are so lovely. Have had images of these in my mind over many years, having seen them only in a tiny wildflower book I was given as a child, but never been fortunate enought to see them in reality. Has to be V1 for me too. totally stunner of a shot!

2 beautiful images, Alan. Like Ann, I have never seen them in reality and this is what makes this site so attractive. You have captured them so well and given each shot a lovely atmospheric quality.

Again, #1 seems rather dark to me. I wonder if you have your monitor brightness turned up a long way? Looking at the histogram, 98% of the image is below three-quarters brightness.
