A Fresh View

One of the joys of digital photography, is that as you discover new techniques for post-processing your images you can apply them to your existing pictures. For instance I've recently been revisiting some infrared pictures I shot last summer and today I found out that by using UFRaw I could get a better setting from the White Balance adjustment.

1s @ F11 @ ISO 200 @18mm

In Photoshop I swapped the red & blue channels, did a levels adjustment then used Topaz denoise on the sky and topaz Detail on the trees & water.

Please have a look at the large version, it looks a whole lot better large! Many thanks to everyone who has taken the time to vote and comment on my earlier pictures.

Oops! Uploaded the wrong picture as v1, no noise reduction. v2 is the one I meant to upload. Excuse me while I go and hit myself around my head with a wet mackerel.
