The Diner...

By Mrsbass
Good morning everyone,

I am currently working on a project that has made me think about my photography in a completely different way, I've been drafting up some initial ideas and was really pleased with the end result of this one, (this was a building that caught my eye as I was driving along the A1 earlier this week so I grabbed a shot with my mobile phone) It may not be every ones cup of tea but it feels right to be pushing myself into new directions.

Thanks for your wonderful comments and votes on my recent uploads - they are very much appreciated.

Best Wishes

An interesting image Heather, a bit of a statement being dark and moody. Very well done IMHO

Heather this is fabulously different. It almost looks like the moon top left is hot causing the building to melt and fire starting along the entrance. Very clever lady! Smile

Changing directions and exploring new avenues especially in the arts is extremely hard. I have often come across many barriers and obstacles whilst trying to think outside the the proverbial box. However I have always retained the thought that it is my work, and although it may not be to everyones taste, there will be someone out there who actually applauds me for my efforts, this image is case in point Heather.

Superb, and I look forward to many more of your imaginative and interesting work.

Could that be the place where all musicians go for a cup of tea? GrinGrinGrin
Keep experimenting and just have fun. That's the idea...

An interesting image, thought provoking. Every avenue is worth exploring, even the cul-de-sacs.Smile

Fantastic, makes me think it could be a screen shot from a Steven King book/film with the diner being the main location but the blurred lines and lighting being the spooky part of it. Also, good food inside. Don't suppose it was the one near Stamford?

this is great , love the texture and lighting , processing is also spot on , love the liquefying effect around the roof and sky area , the whole image works really well from the bike to the blurred images through the windows , the whole image has a very sinister feel to it , , this is one of my favorite images you have produced ( taken with a mobile phone - makes you think ) stunning work H , that curve is getting very steep not sure i can keep up .
