Fabulous Jan .... I thought from the thumbnail it was one of DeLone's ...... love it and those big wide eyes. I'd have maybe pushed her more over to the right of the frame for the "in-vogue" off-centre composition that is all the rage in down-town Birmingham but whichever way you cut it this is a beautiful portrait.

Hope that counting to twenty was in pounds for her fee Janet, possibly good for you she struggled after twenty.

Thanks guys.
Hi Les,many thanks for the GEA...makes the wriggling worth while Grin..pictures for posing ...hahaha, no fee involved..phew !

She was actually counting her teeth,a strange thing to ask her to do, I know, but at least she did sit still for more than a nano second Wink

Dave,I do like DeLone's stuff so that's a nice compliment.I see what you mean by shoving her a little more to the right but I do need to maintain this ratio for other things...it fits nicely into a 15x10 inch mount. No more space to be had on her right though,I suppose I could have dropped some in but...hey ho . Anyroad,I don't live in Brummie Land Wink

A beautiful image, Janet, very well captured and presented. She looks as though she had been digging in the garden before the photo shoot, her little nails could do with a clean Wink. Carol

this is a clever composition

because the tendency to put a colourful back drop has been resisted
and rightly so,

the whole look is
a beautiful delicate and ethereal magic image

so well done

I agree with DaveU, I thought it was one of Delone's too. Lovely shot but cropped a bit tight on the top? You're very lucky to have such gorgeous models on tap. Smile

You have captured something very special here Janet. I absolutely adore this shot, the expression the light in her eyes and the nice textured background along with her hair blowing in the breeze. Wish I'd taken this, but then I don't.can't do portraits...and certainly nothing of this quality. Have my weekly award with absolute bloomin pleasure m'am
