    I actually applied to the FAI for a media pass, which I successfully got for the match which meant I could go on the pitch. On the other side I do know of a few people who brought in their slr's and long lenses

    Were down at the rally for the night stage which was cacelled at the last minute so the only shots we could get were the drivers going out and back.

    Thanks for that. I do find the motor on the sigma a bit noisey so I think I'll stick with my origanal option and maybe get the canon.

    Honestly, I use a Tamron extender on my Canon, and I've had no issues with it thus far. I'm not too sure about the Sigma, but I imagine it couldn't be too far different.
