Beady eye 2

By Mozzytheboy
I've just lost everything I had typed. Sad Doing it again. Thanks for messages, even the darned morphine capsules won't take the edge off. Out of bed today and so this one from September I think. It was a lucky image in-so-far as it turned out sharp. I worked colour curves, a very small crop just to tidy edges, and 1.8 on the high pass filter for a sharpen of the subject.

Thank you all for everything!

A very well observed, composed, exposed and captured macro image with quite incredible detail and wonderful natural colour…

Try a large Glenmorangie Mozzy. Works wonders for me. I don't understand all the technical bits, but its a darn good image to me Grin Peter.

Really nice image, the back light on the leg-hairs & back of what I think is a shield bug works well. Smile

Thank you all. The only thing I'm not happy with is what seems like blown highlights across his back and elsewhere. Seemed OK on the Histogram.

I don't think you have to worry about this as it doesn't seem to detract your eye from the main subject of the image which I do think you have captured really.

Now that's one heckuva close-up. Great background too!
