This is Tant Mies (Auntie Mies).

Wonderfully shot. Like the POV...such wonderful light on her face to show her expressive face. The contrast in your pictures is amazing. Love them. Also, really enjoy how you add something of great importance to the featured person.

Thank you Sandy - that's nice to hear. Best thing that happened to me (only recently) was to learn to use the selective exposure settings in Camera Raw V5 more actively, and leave the fine tuning to PS. This enabled me to retain the highlights more easily when working up a contrast for effect. Andre

I like your shots with people in the background best. The picture is often about them as much if not more than the main subject.
