Please view this image large, thanks.

This is another upload of my visit to the Jenniker family, who lives in a small hillside settlement between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna in the Garden Route in South Africa.
I went back a second time to shoot this image. On the first occasion it was too sunny, and the difference in light between the inside of the caravan and the scene outside was too much.
The little boy at the window is CJ, the youngest member of the Jenniker family, and this old caravan is actually an extension to their one roomed house, and serves as a day room for the family, and a bedroom for their other two children at night.

Wonderful work. I love the framing, eye contact, the child in the background, everything. Large is something to behold.

This is truly excellent Andre. The gaze of thechild, the dependancy on the hands clutching for support and the child in the background, slightly out of focus, gazing up as if he's caught you taking the shot but perhaps doesn't quite understand what's going on. It deserves far more recognition. Bryan

Thanks shaks and Bryan. This is probably the shot that I have enjoyed both taking and processing most in the last month or so. For once I pre-visualised something and then went out to do it (twice). And for once all fell into place. Your comments and observations are much appreciated. Andre
