Because the bird is in shade it's made the colour balance look very blue with a touch of magenta. It's also slightly under exposed imo. If you upped the exposure on the bird and shadowed areas only and added more yellow to balance the colours, then this would be a very nice shot. Possibly clone out the bright white patch behind the Jay's beak.

A nice capture a bird I have (to my knowledge) only ever seen once in my 84 years. Thank you for giving giving me the joy. Of seeing this Photograph.And the one 5 before it, which I have only just see. Eric. Gypsyman.
