Sunrise on the Rocks

By Andy_Curtis
Decided to take a super early trip to Avebury in hopes of creating a lovely sunrise image. I prefer clouds in my sunrise/set images, but hey ho...

*********** Winter Wonderland Comp***********

Unfortunately, where I live, and most of the surrounding areas, we get no snow. This image is the most wintery image I have captured. to me, the crisp blue skies, fresh frost on the ground, and the breaking of a new day is what winter wonderland means to me. These stones, at Wiltshires Avebury Stone circle are used to celebrate the Winter Solstice, so there is a hidden element to this image too Smile

Lovely Andy. One really minor edit I'd recommend though - clone out the vapour trail to the right of the front most stone.

I think the plain sky enhances the starkness of the semi silhouetted stones and the trees. it`s a beautiful sky. Well recorded.
