It's a well conceived and brilliantly worked composite, I'd say. Clever stuff Andy, it looks very professional! Well beyond my ken.

Bloody h*ll Andy -this is brilliant!!!
Agree with maratsuikka, definitely an HC material. Fantastic idea so well executed. If you wouldn't mind one day to show us the work in process, this must be one amazing transition. Got it right down to the shadow angle... Well done!

I have just given you my User Award to you, for another image, then I see this masterpiece.

Brilliant. I find the mountains tend to clutter the image in #2
nicely done

I think the mountains in V2 take from the feeling of vast emptiness and alone adventure in V1, tho thats not to say i dont like it!

Rough and ready works for me, V 2. Guess you knew I would like this one Andy. Still think this is the sort of thing for book covers and the like and it gets my 'Fantasmagorical' award to descibe it. With the hills in the background, it looks like the subjects are coming home victorious. Sylv.

Not sure about the floating mountains...

But the rest is in another league! I really like this a lot... Could be an advert for Warhammer fantasy role play figures (but my son would know more about that). Dramatic, atmospheric, fantastical... Smile

I absolutely love images like this, a stunning montage Andy. V2 is my favorite. My only niggle is the large dark shape in front of the mounted rider. It gets my user award either way!

Well done

Superb work Andy - magnificent and magical effects. V1 for me as the mountains are out of scale with the horizon of the seascape - perhaps I'm just a little too pedantic Smile

I really like this shot-it reminds me of the army of the dead from lord of the rings, and the little figures you get in the role playing stategy game of it (warhammer) really good, i'll be back!!!

I thought at first I preferred the 1st one, but then after looking flicking between them, the 1st seems to lack something, so I like the second best now.

erm... did that make sense? Anyway, lovely.
