Very beautiful image; and yes our thoughts and prayers are with the people who have suffered as a result of the floods.

A stunning image, Andy.
And your narrative provokes much thought for the good folk whose lives have been so badly affected by the effects of the recent appalling weather.

Lovely lead in Andy creates good depth ,I have been fishing on the Eden when a violent thunder storm hit it is scary just how fast it rises against an an incoming tide.

Very true Andy How a matter of minutes can do so much damage, disruption and heartache ..to peoples homes..

I can hardly believe the images we are seeing on TV of the flooding, Andy: my heart goes out to all those many folks affected.
But what a beautiful composition from Wastwater with such an excellent lead in from the column of boulders.

The composition is so good it makes me wonder how long it took you to place those rocks Wink

One cannot comprehend the level of rainfall in one day and it is worth sparing a thought for the people affected........must be terrible for them !!
