One from last year. Taken from the approach to Skiddaw summit on a very cold March day, this shot is looking back toward Skiddaw Little Man and onward to the Helvellyn range.

For a moment when viewing the thumbnail I had thought you had taken this looking out from a plane and along the wing, but I see the shot involved you rather more effort: but the effort was so worth while, getting a view from a fell top.

I have walked and climbed throughout this wonderful landscape on many occasions and in turn I have tried to capture its beauty and charm, however I have never managed to capture it as well as this. Great image with lots of wintry appeal.
