Spent ages trying to get the colour version right, then decided I prefer the mono/toned look!
Taken last night at Queener Point, Rame Head with one eye trained on James(JAParsonage) as he worked his way ever closer to the perilous edge! (he got the shot though )
One of your best for a while mate, IMHO
Have they all been that bad?
Fantastic image, super comp and effect.
No, but this one for me is top shelf stuff........
like the tones, very nicely done.lesley x
Drama by the bucketload.
Excellent shot mate, very moody
Truly amazing - the energy of the clouds and the sea, the cliffs and the tone of the shot is excellent. Its not relaxing like some of your prior shots and this difference makes it better today.
A very dramatic seascape, you've captured the power of the waves superbly
The perspective, movement and toning of this image work for me Quality stuff.
Great mono work.
Wow !!.....thats one mighty impressive image !

I made the mistake of taking off my rose coloured glasses, wow, there's a strange green cast on this? Split toning?
lovely action and praiseworthy care of your colleague.

Should lean more towards blue Dougie - I prefer my mono's with a hint of something
I don't usually like toned mono shots but for you, Paul, I make an exception! Brilliant image with great mood and drama and it all works really well in toned mono.
Stunning mono, really breathtaking!
Great drama and I like the tones too!
PERFECTION! So glad you worked this in mono - it couldn't be better in colour
Great shot Paul, very moody
I find the wave ghosting a little distracting on the rock near the centre of the image - I think it's because it covers that part of the rock completely. Still, short of building a breaker down there I'm not sure there's a great deal you could've done about that!!
Excellent composition and processing.
Love the just a hint of colour. Absolutely gorgeous...........Sandyt
Likevthe moody tones Paul.
Superb clarity and the toned mono is the icing on the cake. Sylvia
Beautiful image, lovely tones !
Stunning in every way Paul. Superb composition, detail and water movement mirrored by that moody sky. As you might be able to tell I like it a lot, so have another UA.
PS looks like a blue tint on this screen.
Special thanks to Ange and Derek for the UA's
Well Paul , it works for me. Stunning
Outstanding treatment here, Paul, with the single tone helping to accentuate the detail throughout the scene.
Cheers Pete! - that's brightened my day a bit
Wow. Amazing capture!
Thought this may end up on your top shelf mate......
Have my award to add to it.
Drama all the way with this Paul, congrats on the HC
Cheers Ed! - much obliged
Thanks for the GEA Val - feeling very decorated now!
I really find this a fascinating image Paul. The mono strips away all distraction and allows one to concentrate on the wonderful interplay between the elements. Beautifully done
Classy work Paul.
Excellent image Paul, love the toning. Congrats on the awards, well desreved.
Excellent shot,very well done.
Cheers for the UA Tom !!!
The toning suits this so well, I find it mesmerising, just want to keep looking at it! Well done Paul and congrat's for your awards
Have another award from me, stunning in every way. . . think everyone else has covered my thoughts on this!
