Thank you for visiting my portfolio, I hope you find something magical Smile

I am an artist first and a photographer second, therefore I love to create images that convey emotion rather then capturing a scene as the camera saw it.

I third and forth that Conrad!, many thanks to you Davie...especially for encouraging me to come along in 2006 when I dident know anyone! I might never of met Dougie if you hadent, and that dosent bare thinking about!

I have so many fantastic memories of the meets and have found so many true friends (and partner), they really did change the direction of my life for the better. Looking forward to starting a new chapter in Pitlochry Smile

Great article Jeanie, and not an envious job trying to fit 3 years into one article, but you have done us all proud. Very well done....and brought a tear to my eye

especially when I think of a little known Scottish folk song....

" So let me tell you that I love you
And I think about you all the time-
Caladonia, your calling me, and now I'm going home......
And if I should become a stranger, know that this would make me more than sad,
    Caladonia's the best I've ever had. "

lol....I have been putting off posting here for the same reasons as you said about mine Smile
I hope you don't think it a cop out if I paste my reply to you from my PF.

Victor, what can I say? It was your own work that has spured me on to create the kinds of images I am doing a year on from first seeing your work. The fact that you appreciate my work and encourage me the way you do has been such an honour and if I scan the comments for anyones in particular, it is always yours. Thankyou for your passion for art and your imagination....and thankyou for your beauty x

This is an ideal space to be able to say how much I love your landscapes and how much I admire the quality of your work.
On a more personal note I would like to say a big thankyou for all the time, encouragment and support that you have given me in the last year or so on EPZ as well as your sence of humour and fun. It's always a pleasure to read your comments and stories Grin

You have some beautifull shots in your PF . I have recently upgraded to my first DSLR and live on an island with simmilar landscapes, so will be watching your shots with interest to see what I can learn.I'm suprised you haven't had more clicks, but I'm sure that will change in the near future!

Your work is excellent and I love your use of texture. There are not many girls on here doing imaginative layering and fantasy work who arn't just taking pictures of their own mugs constantly! lol. It's great to see somone being a bit more adventurous with the talent to back it up.Look forward to seeing more of your work in the future Smile
