A difficult choice between your two mods John - I like them both, but I think I prefer no. 2 and I think they're both an improvement on my version. Smile Thanks for taking the time. So, v2 is the one with highlights set to 50%?

A great idea, Ann, and very well executed. John's v2 does give a bit more punch as well. My only complaint would be putting sugar on strawberries... sacrilege, they are so sweet and melt in your mouth if grown at home Smile Unfortunately I've got a cold at the moment and lost my sense of taste just as my crop are ripening in the sun!!

Hi Ann - just a quick mod. There is a lot more going on with the sugar than you have shown.
In Capture NX- I have just lifted the shadows - painted in a bit of sharpness - and added local contrast for shape on the jar.
Hope that helps.
Brian.

Never mind the type of sugar...I'm pretty sure you're meant to boil the strawberries first, Ann! You need to talk to Lynne about this. She'll set you straight Grin

An experiment that's gone well here Smile I especially like the whoooooosh of sugar at the top!

Very well captured Ann, it maybe the wrong sugar but it sure does make this wonderful shot sweet.

delightful.
a very light dusting of white pepper on strawberries enhances the sweetness.
