We went to Lotherton Hall on Sunday to try and get photos of the deer in the fog.
Plenty of fog/mist but no deer.
So had a wander around and suddenly this amazing colour burst out from the trees.
The flamingos have never looked so bright.
I guess their food supply has improved.
The deep colour comes from the aqueous bacteria and beta carotene in the food supply.
This one was standing by the dark trees so I had a natural dark background.
A belated thankyou to guest editor Mark (marktc) for his award for my mouseketeasel award .... oh happy days !
