365 day 110 - Upload into and up from my iPad

Today's picture fulfils two objectives. One, my daily photograph and two, the first photograph I have uploaded directly onto and up from my iPad. We are off tomorrow for two weeks and I hated the thought of coming back with two weeks worth of photographs to upload so I got myself a little card reader for my iPad and downloaded iPhoto though judging from my first attempts I'm not sure how I'll get on with that!

This is my grandaughter, Holly who is 13 going on 26! This was take this afternoon in their dining room with a little blast of flash, though as you can see, a reflector on her right side would have helped. I cropped the image slightly in iPhoto and applied a little sharpening to her eyes. My attempt to lighten the dark shadows under her eyes, particularly the right was a disaster though as I don't seem to be able to moderate the amount of lightening or pressure so,she ended up looking like a panda! I won't be ditching Lightroom or Elements in favour of IPhoto but it will do the trick whilst I am away!
