365 Day 12 - Sunday's gone and nothing achieved!

There had been a hard frost in the night and everything was white. I'll get out early I thought and take some photographs, but by the time I got out of the shower the frost had gone along with the sun and the cloud had rolled in. Ok there is plenty to do indoors, I could tidy my study for a start and maybe do some indoor photography, after all I still have some work to do on my OCA assessment stuff which I can do with a desk lamp. However instead of clearing up my desk, I sit down and start to look at some family history stuff I was working on yesterday. I am trying to find a great, great, grandfather called Samuel Roxburgh, who lived in Dumfries-shire but despite having a marriage record and birth records of all his children, I can't find anything about the man himself on any of the websites I use. He's not on any of the census records except perhaps one, if he was in the army as a very young man. I'll just have a quick look at the military records for his regiment. Before I know it, its 1.30. We are going to our youngest son's house for dinner. I haven't even taken my daily photograph yet, so this is my desk as I found it this morning and left it this afternoon. The only thing that has changed is that my camera battery has now charged! It is a dreadful photo I know, taken on the little waterproof compact I bought before we went to the Galapagos last year...but it is a photograph taken today!
