365 Day 136 - Dartmouth Castle

18 May 2014 5:52PM   Views : 220 Unique : 177

It is a nice half hour walk from Dartmouth up to the old Castle ruins, the Castle Tearoom and St Petroc's Church and that's where we went this morning to listen to the 'Harry Browns' sea shanty men perform as part of the music festival programme. They are a really professional group of musicians, based in Bristol whose ispiration comes from the seafaring folk from Bristol and the West Country. I could have put up a picture from their performance but instead this one was taken after they finished looking back towards the old castle.
