365 Day 165 - Cooling off
23 Jun 2014 10:40PM Views : 344 Unique : 266Like yesterday, I had pretty much decided what today's photograph would be and again like yesterday, something else jumped out at me and I changed my mind. Today we headed for Salen, a small village on the east coast of Mull. There is nothing much there other than an old pier which is no longer in use, a hotel, a coffee shop and the standard Mull retail outlet, a Spar shop. Except that is for a couple of old rotting fishing boats which I spotted the first time we came to Mull and I wanted to go back to photograph. They are probably the single most photographed feature in all of Mull. I did get my pictures and some will eventually reach my portfolio however on route we spotted these cattle cooling off in the loch.
