365 Day 182 - Potatoes!!!
6 Jul 2014 9:45PM Views : 335 Unique : 260Today was 'Founders' Day' at the school at which I am a governor. It is a Church of England aided school attached to St John the Baptist, Huntley and although strictly speaking, St John the Baptist day is 24th June, we usually hold our 'Founders Day' events on a Friday, two weeks before the end of the summer term. We have a church service celebrating all the things that the school had done over the last year where each of the 4 classes put on a performance and this is followed by the annual fete which is organised by the PTFA. I spent a while selling raffle tickets before I was finally let loose with my camera. This photo was taken at the 'bran tub' or lucky dip in my days and I loved the expression on this young lad's face when he pulled out a bag of potatoes!
