365 Day 183 - Anyone for Pimms?
6 Jul 2014 9:55PM Views : 815 Unique : 486I'm working on part 2 of my OCA People and Place course at the moment and the exercises I am doing involve photographing people without them being aware of it. My current exercises involve using a wide angle lens and a standard local length lens so that I get the people and the environment to a lesser or greater extent and a 'semi organised' event where there are lots of people milling around. Today there was a 'Midsummer Festival' in Cheltenham with music, stalls, entertainment etc., etc. so that is where I headed. It is not as easy as it sounds as people walk in front of you and I found getting the composition just right quite tricky. All in all I took a couple of dozen photographs and probably got half a dozen I would use for my course. I was taken by this old VW camper van masquerading as a Pimms bar though.
