13 Jul 2014 7:55PM Views : 223 Unique : 173When I took Isla for her walk today there seemed to be lots more butterflies than I had seen for a while, mostly small tortoishelles feeding on thistles. It was quite windy though and even with quite a fast shutter speed it wasn't easy to get them sharp as the thistles were swaying in the wind. This is one of the better ones.
Later on, I was in the kitchen cleaning out my golf bag and washing my clubs as I have a game tomorrow when suddenly across the floor walked this creature. I kid you not he would fitted nicely into the palm of my had had I been brave enough to pick him up. As my clubs live in the garage I think he probably came from there. I know which if tonight's beasties I like best!!!
