11 Sep 2014 10:42AM Views : 299 Unique : 203Today we took a trip through Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and up to Spean Bridge where the Commando Memorial stands high on the hill overlooking the valley below and the hills beyond. This memorial never ceases to move me and since we were last there, a memorial garden has been established where there are commemorative plaques to all commandos, not just from world war 2 but also those who died in more recent conflicts. I couldn't bring myself to photographs that but here is the original commando memorial statue.
