365 Day 269 - Weekly macro challenge - blue

The theme was blue, a veiled reference to what has been happening in Scotland but I'm not going to be drawn on that other than to say that at I won't have to apply for a new passport. I struggled with the topic a little bit. Not many natural things other than the sky ans sea are blue so started to look around the house and settled on a collection of blue and white bits and bobs on the kitchen windowsill. This is a Christmas bell which we bought in Germany in 1975 for my mother who collected bells. I reclaimed it when she passed away a few years ago. I should really have shown the side that said Weihnachten!
