16 Oct 2014 10:13PM Views : 667 Unique : 463The person who brought the Chinese Lanterns to camera club last night was kind enough to let me have some and I couldn't resist having another attempt at still life.
According to the colour wheel, orange and blue are complementary colours so I thought I would team the seed heads with a small blue vase. I hadn't appreciated the problems I would have lighting this. I had two desk lamps, both of which produced spots on the vase and more spots were caused by the little overhead lamps. I have cloned some of this out, very badly but I'm hoping to have another go at this tomorrow by putting the items into a home made light tent to see if I can get rid of the light spots. Watch this space!
