365 Day 5 - Before and after

There are going to be 2 photographs today, is that allowed? It wouldn't be on some dedicated sites, I know, not even, or especially if I combined them as collage but I'm going to try it here, failing that there will be 2 entries.

I didn't think it would be long before Isla graced the pages of this blog and no doubt this will not be the last time! Isla is our gorgeous little West Highland White. She will be 4 in March and we got her as a puppy to cheer me up and keep me occupied when I was having chemo a few years ago. Cheer me up she certainly did. I couldn't help laugh at some of her antics no matter how grim I was feeling.

Isla's favourite walk is when her dad takes her round some of the ploughed fields not far from us. He usually tries to keep her reasonably clean but she frequently needs to have her undercarriage washed when they return. Well today he decided to let her have a good run, ploughed fields, all the rain we've had - there was more than her undercarriage in need of a wash when they got back so upstairs into the shower she goes without even being asked!



Then, what do you do when you've had a nice relaxing shower? Go to sleep on mum and dad's bed of course!
