365 Day 54 - PCC accounts
23 Feb 2014 2:28PM Views : 330 Unique : 2663 years ago I was 'persuaded' to take over as treasurer of our local church as the 80 year old gentleman who had been doing it for 23 years did not have a computer and people like HMRC were starting to demand that gift aid claims forms were competed online. Since then the magazine funds and benefice funds have been added in and usually its fine, (although I have no intention of keeping it up for 23 years), but when as now, I'm getting it all ready for audit, I sometimes wish I had never started!
So this afternoon, instead of watching the end of the winter Olympics, I am sitting at my computer finishing off these accounts so that they can be dropped off at the auditor tomorrow. Not sure when I'll finish and therefore get a chance to take another photo, so here is a glimpse of the dreaded accounts. Only one small bit in focus so that you have no idea how much we've got!
