365 Day 56 - Valentine Lilies

The frogs I spotted yesterday eluded me today, maybe it is just still a bit early for them and they were lulled into a false sense of security by yesterday's sunshine. Playing golf this afternoon and I know that my playing partners would not appreciate a camera clicking away as they were about to play, so I resorted to the lilies I eventually got for valentine/wedding anniversary. They were a week late and in quite tight bud but are just at their best now. My mother would not have thanked you for lilies as she said they were funeral flowers but I love them.

I took several images, trying various depths of field as I always love the dreamy flower photos posted by some of our peers on EPZ but somehow they didn't quite work today so I've gone for one with which is sharp throughout. a bit of cropping and cloning and here we have it.
