365 Day 59 - Come on mum!

Off to 'Waterfall Country' today. We had an old copy of 'Walks in the Brecon Beacons' and the plan was to park at Porth yr Ogof which we thought was just south of Ystradfellte, and follow a 4 mile circular walk which took in several of the falls. Half way down to the start we discovered that we had left the map behind and only had the little walk book and the sat nav in the car, which did not recognise the little Welsh hamlets we were heading for. Having found the 'Waterfall Country' information centre at Pontneddfechan closed, we headed up towards Ystradfellte and eventually we found 'a' car park although it went by a different name and without a proper map we were reluctant to risk it. (Nothing to do with the £4 parking charge you understand!) So off we went again, back down to Pontneddfechan, and followed the well signed path along the river to Sgwd Gwladus. Stunning scenery, easy walking, Isla was able to get her paws wet but sometimes the only way to remind mum that its time to go is to get in the picture!
