365 Day 77 - Closeup with AW100

I wasn't able to upload yesterday because I have a problem with my computer and the Tech Guys have used tose scary words, 'system restore' so have spent the last 2 days trying to make sure I have a complete trustworthy back up of all my files, and that's another story! Another, smaller problem I have had is that I'm struggling with some of the scene settings on my little Coolpix AW100 so spent some time experimenting with that. My logic told me that if I wanted a close up that I would change the setting to 'close up', zoom right in and hey presto but no, that results in very blurred pictures. It seems that what I have to do is use the camera at the wider end and then I can go in quite close. It might have helped if I'd read the manual first (it still might), but anyway this is the result. Not great but a lot better than I had before!
