We've been to the Griffin at Felin Fach several times and we usually go via Hay on Wye, where my husband takes Isla for a walk along the river whilst I have a look around the shops before meeting up again for lunch. Hay is famous for its literary festival and second hand book shops and I spotting this message written above the window of one of the said book shops.
