might come in handy one day...

this one is dedicated especially to Jo (and of course Anna and Ayoob ) I promised a shearing shed .. this is Cordillo Downs. The 2nd shot is just a crop of the first one, please note the door lock!

thanks for all your support, got another bird picture form yesterday but then I think they are others round here who are better at it than I am so I think this is more fun. those of you in Britain got a day off so I bet you are all out with your cameras and I wish you loads of good pictures!

I had a laugh at that lock!! I think that is what they would call here a "redneck" lock!! But that structure is interesting - I wouldn't have guessed what it was for if you hadn't said, Annette.

I just love those lovely crisp colors, and that blue sky is a perfect background! Exceptional! Keep shooting!, from David in the old country.

I love this. V1 is my favorite. Nice composition here -- showing this whole "collection" of stuff in great gritty detail.
By the way -- very nice deep blue sky.
Nicely done.

oh !!!!! Cordillo - I feel like I have come home - I know this old truck and the Shearing shed is one the absolute best you will ever see. Did you ever get inside? I have negs from those days, but where they are is anyones guess. That door lock has got Jimmy Crombie written all over it lol.. It is without a doubt on of the best images of Cordillo that I have ever seen. David Brooks i am sure would love a copy..Jo

Jo, if you can find your negs PLEASE do scan them. yes I have been inside but it was VERY dusty then. I have been there twice and Jimmy Crombie rings a bell. Well if you think David Brooks would really love a print I'd be happy to send one, just let me know where to! A.
