A leaf with legs -siderone polymela

By annettep38
I figured that mangoes make a fine bait. That is one of the results, a very rare type of leaf flutterby.
«Explanation» the mango pip is in a tree, in a hole. I don't catch them, only on camera. There is a great group of leaf shaped nymphalidae caled Charaxinae who are not interested in flowers, only in rotting stuff and fruit. I learned that from a dropped papaya.

Many thanks to Colleen,Prabhas,Len, Martin and Matthew for their generous awards. And all your kind words and votes.

A fascinating creature very well captured.

Succulent, overripe fruit can be a great attraction. The year we decided to leave the Figs to the wildlife in Spain I got loads of images of Two Tailed Pashas feasting on them.
