alone in the snow

2nd version - white frame for a whitewash
winter is hard and harsh here in some years, biting and suffocating. One lone crow tries to survive on next to nothing in a frozen environment @ -17C. Taken on the way to work

sorry everyone, something went terribly wrong with my version uploads, now I got both versions on two days .... didn't mean to do a double but somehow I can't get them together... please let me know which one you prefer!

many thanks for all your funny and cheerful comments and votes regarding the tipsy hornets. No Malc, we don't usually get 18C on the 17th of November, after a morning frost. Just nature's whim.

You must have great favour with the powers that be to be able to upload twice a day Smile The other photo with the dark frame gives me a feel of gloom and desolation but his one is much lighter on my spirit - even in the harsh conditions it contains life Smile

You're confusing me now, Annette, I work backwards from the first upload in a morning but I've already seen another version... deja vu Smile
