F-15 Eagle fighter in the meadow

By annettep38
Well , actually it is a libelloides coccajus , ascalphe soufré in French.
This year I had to move my bug hunting grounds ( see yesterday's rant) and the 'new ' meadow has a very similar composition to the one close to home. Was very pleased to see that there are a dozen of those predators, very rare in France or Spain. They are as fast as the airplane and as deadly for flies.

Many thanks to Ron and Jenn for the wonderful awards, very much appreciated. And cheers to you all for you lovely comments and votes. Shot today and totally untweaked.

Considering it's an 'untweaked' image, it's a very good shot, Annette.
I agree with Mick, 'Eagle Fighter' rolls off the tongue nicely...!
