Award Shortlist

From above, no witches, only frigates and in colour

By annettep38
Many thanks to Ron for his lovely award.
Here is the same thing in colour, two weeks later, better point of view and late sunlight. It looks pretty dark on a dull day when the other photo was taken.
Did I say it was hard to get to the beach?
Well getting up that hill at 30 with hardly any wind made me feel very unfit. Also my friend Octavio carried this 200400 half the way.

And here is an important fact for Lynne. Yes, bruja is a witch, But what flies there are definitely zopliotes, frigates and brown boobies. I somebody spots a witch there please let her know I am up for an apprenticeship in broomstick flying for beginners, I think that might be less exhausting if you carry a bird lens.

Sparkling sea water and oxide on the rock, what could be better?
Are the Witches related to the Gorgons?

Good light to bring out the colours in the rock

What a different story the colour version makes!
Think I'll stick with today's version Annette - we've not had enough sun this summer.

Another great shot Annette but if you dont mind I think I will opt for the original posting.Mono seems to suit the stark severity of the rock.
