moonlight bliss

By annettep38
thanks to all you lovely people for your nice comments and votes.Sorry, have not been around a lot today, no break @ work and plenty to do back home.

I had to try this one day, had put my tele on tripod one night. But as I focused slowly I found the acacia branches in front of the hazy moon far more interesting than the moon itself!
The moon shot 10 mins later was taken with the same lens with the TC301 2x converter. aperture was fully open and it was 1/500 s at 640 ASA

I think the shot of the moon is amazing - so much detail - was that just with a 500mm lens and not with a telescope? V1 is nice but for me its v2.

I agree with you. The leaves in front of the out-of-focus moon are very interesting and present an almost wood cut engraving sort of effect.

Annette..both version are excellent. if you adjust the blue channel is PS..it will give it that midnight look. I love the full shot of the moon. Very sharp. Well taken Smile

Well done with the full moon shot, so much detail! V1 has a distinctly eerie look about it, and with some adjustment could be very spooky indeed, perfect for Monday!!
