Ansie, This is a brave and, actually, very striking image that HAS to be seen in its large version to be appreciated. I love its abstract form, and the fact that it takes on real meaning when you see it in a larger size and can see the wonderful varying shades of shadow, the undulations and textures in the sand, and the way the grasses are crested with light. It's a beauty which, I'm afraid, may not get to be appreciated by the audience it deserves.

Ansie great detail and shades! the detail is thta much more defined in the larger version especially the trees and sand texture! i like it!

I think it got overlooked because it is too subtle to be noticed amongst the thumbnails. Definitely a beauty seen large. Also, it you make more comments, people will look back to see what you have.

Excellent composition. Great light and shade.
Like the ripples in the sand and the tuff of grass.

Pragtige foto. Ek sien jy is lief vir Sossusvlei. As jy belangstel kan ek vir jou heelwat lugfofos daarvan gee. Ek vlieg gereeld tussen Kaapstad en Walvisbaai. Ek het vir "skyexplorer" so 40 fotos gestuur. Kyk bietjie na haar portfolio van Sossusvlei. Dis absoluut pragtig.
