Wow. If you had to basically 'restore' it digitally, as you say, then you've got to pleased with this. Really nice.

Like this hell of a lot, the treatment is superb the colours just jump out at you and the young models looks are terrific. Very much to my taste and stand head and shoulders(no pun intended) above the avarage portrait. Sorry to ramble on K but this is up there with some of your best portfolio work and thats saying something, I can realy see this as a very large print tastefully framed and hanging on anyone wall.LOVE IT.
Kind regards, Victor

Hi K.,
WOW is the correct word.......Very Very Nice. I know I am late per the above dates in commenting on this picture, but it stood out while I was scanning thru your portfolio.....
I am curious and I know if I researched this question, could probably find out....but I am clueless as to how you inserted color into the B/W photo, this photo is just gorgeous!!!

18 Sep 2004 11:27PM
Thank you Carsten, Pam, and Suzan. Suzan its not a b&w image but a colour one which was achieved by using curves in photoshop. The eye colour I have changed and a bit of dodging and burning around the eye area, if you need any more advice drop me a line, always happy to help. K.
Thank you K., I will have to play with that, A Huge Thank you for the tips!!

Thank you Inka, the colour has been changed yes, you need to draw around the iris with the lasso tool then feather by 1/2 pixels then use the hue saturation feature to change the colour.
