thanks you two, 25 views and 3 clicks, good enough to open but not to comment or is there another reason...

Yep that's attitude if ever I saw it. Great portrait and I like the presentation on this one especially the placement of the title... very different.

Looks like attitude to me. Have no idea why not more clicks but 7 is a good number for us average boys and girls! As your not average I'll give you an 8th. You should be so hung up on clicks though K!

Oh by the way something in my head keeps making me look at her left hand and it seems to be out of proportion with the rest of the body. Guess because its nearest the lens.

*Edit* too slow 10 now!
5 Oct 2005 9:54AM
Not at all just seems strange to me that its 'attractive' enough to open yet.... call me a suspicious ole twit but...

oh and she does have big hands, she's a great artist and is going to need those hands to push bicylces over painted canvas when she's older ;-0

i looked, and i liked. so have another heart from me.

not to keen on the very sudden 'dissapear into darkness' at the side of her head, but i like the overall look.

5 Oct 2005 10:03AM
Thanks Chris, I cant see the sudden drop off on this screen, but I bet I will when I get to work, thats the trouble with different PCs :-(

Hi K, I looked and didn't comment or click at first mainly as I have seen so many good shots of her that you have done over the past year or so that they do not excite me as much as they would if I had never seen a shot of her done before.

I still like the pose and lighting and cant really fault the picture in anyway.
5 Oct 2005 10:33AM
OK Chris, fair point, note to self to get a new model Wink

Love the photo and I think Alex is growing up to be a stunner...but I always think that she looks a bit miserable (Alex, if you're reading this, please don't take offence) - there's certainly attitude there, but she always looks a bit like she can't wait to get away Smile

Lighting's top notch btw. Good pose and I like that lovely long hair Smile

5 Oct 2005 10:50AM
lol Mel! I'm going to have to get her to work on those expressions. I have got a proper miserable one, 9 mins into a 10 min session came the first one, didnt get a second one as I called it a night, best way. Thanks for commenting and Mark too. K.

I wouldn't get too overly paranoid about the view/click/comment ratio, K.

I got a few shots in my portfolio that have about 10 clicks, but over 200 views, you're doing alright. Smile

Nice lighting.

Such a poignant reminder K - my 19 year old has just left home and there's a big hole left in her absence. I actually find myself yearning for those teenage tantrums!

This is a beautiful portrait and sums up all that is a teenager - very well taken. Am happy to give the RC.

Well, I once had one that had 3 clicks and 67 views and it was only halfway down the first page. I think that sometimes people don't know what to say. Maybe it doesn't 'do it' for them, but maybe they can't explain why. or they don't want to hurt your feelings or start a fight!

The light is good, the pose is good, there's plenty of 'tude. It does remind me of being a kid. My dad was a professional photographer and he used to TORTURE us for hours setting up shots! Uggh! Still, we have some good shots of us as kids now, that's for sure. And everybody loves them, as she will I hope.

Well, it works for me, so there you go....

Good luck with the next 9 years or so!

Apart from that 'fade to black area' as mentioned in earlier post it works really well. Likin' the new presentation style too...Smile
