So simple K, but so effective, DOF is spot on for the subject & no distracting highlights on the water (although there is possibly a very small reflection of you?), but in no way does it detract from the overall picture.

Like the droplet on the apple. Great shot

Lovely composition, looks cool. I would possibly say it should be a little bit brighter to give a larger contrast with the background, but I think it is nice as it is. =)

Just needs a little more DOF for my mind K, just to bring it all into sharp focus....

Thanks for the comments folks. Ade I deliberately used a shallow dof to concentrate on the droplet more, but thanks for the thought, much appreciated. K.

Been doing some fruit myself K, not as easy as I thought it would be to achieve something a bit different ...the droplet makes this, effective crop too

Good composition and dof K. I think the lighting is a tad flat (maybe that's why Pete didn't go the whole hog).

I very much doubt it Ian, but thanks for the comment, I need more practice with these lights but there never seems to be enough time these days. Thanks Tina, must try harder Wink lol And thanks Stewart and Nic too Smile)) K.

Well presented, good even lighting, nice depth around the stem, and the mirrored reflection of the apple skin in the dropplet is a nice touch. Well done and congrats on the HC. Spot on! Click!!!

I do like the composition but really want to give it a small tweak in curves, it just seems rather flat somehow but on the whole, very good work.

Like it but i think id prefer some more detail on the front of the apple and more blured/out of focus towards the back of the apple. Nevertheless a nice photo.
