I really like photo's like this. I keep meaning to have a go at doing one but never seem to have the time. Love the colours and the way the smoke is swirling

Thank you very much everyone and Pete for the HC. Yes, a studio flash but you can do it with just an onboard flash so long as you are far enough away from the background. I find side lighting brings out a few more patters, still havent tried Jasons method yet and I've run out of sticks. K.

I'm just seeing these now. So far, my favourites are #2 and #6 (going with the crowd I guess.) And #6 is the best one I think. The funny thing is, #6 is my least favourite one in the thumbnail and I looked at it last, but then I liked it the most. Go figure!
