I was up early last weekend looking out for a glimpse of Comet Ison and while I failed to see it (but did spot Mercury and Saturn), I had the sound of leaves fallling off the trees with the hard frost. So before the sun rose and started to melt the ice crystals I pointed the camera earthwards to find an interesting collection of textures.

A crackling good shot, Ant. Love the colours and white of the ice crystals.
Autumnal and Wintery, well photographed.
