Photographing The Aurora

This photograph shows how careful you have to be when framing a shot of the aurora in the dark and using a fisheye lens. In the end I decided to keep this member of our group in the shot rather than crop or clone him out to give it something of a human element. It turns out I was lined up with a lighthouse or ship which provided the bright light on the horizon, dead center.

I think the figure and the light from his screen reflecting on his face adds an element that definitely adds to the image Ant.
