Uig Morning Ferry

By AntHolloway
After getting up for sunrise at the Quiraing, heading back over to the west side of Skye brings you out above Uig, and I arrived as the ferry to the Outer Hebrides was about to dock in the harbour.

Not an easy place to photograph well (I used to live on Skye) but by using the FG gorse for interest and a sense of depth, you've incorporated the whole bay without making a boring image! Plus you resisted the temptation to shoot the bay with the folly in the foreground! Can't believe how much sunshine they've had this year while the rest of us are drowning; turns the usual weather pattern on it's head!
