Well here we are in beautiful and sunny Provence.

Its been a while since my last post....but finally getting the cobwebs off the ole D200.

These sunflowers were given to me by Amanda and Jason who own the house, where we are thought I would put them to some good use.

Taken in a litttle nook in the grounds of the house.

Ah bonjour ma petite ... tres bons, crepes suzettes et la coq sportif.

Lovely pic Alley .... composition, colour combinations and background texture all very tasty.

Love the textures Alison,a good mix.The colours compliment each excellent choice of location too.
Wish I WAS there !....AF you got me confused with someone else,too much Goat's cheese Mrs's addled yer brain !

Make sure he puts plenty of factor 50 on that little bit at the top of his nut,don't want him coming home like a little red beacon do we ?....Wink

I like this very much. Bet a tone mapped version woul look great too (I must try and wean myself off that way of seeing!)

It has some super textures in there and I like the wavey line.

What a fabulous composition and a spot on eye for turning this into a wonderful image for a poster on a wall. Everything about it is perfect including the dead leaves around scattered on the ground, the positioning of the flowers on that particular location of the wall, each detail seems to have been carefully thought.

Well done, a lovely image indeed
