Stinging Nettles

By Anthony
Stinging Nettles, backlit by sunlight.

Shot RAW, 125th sec, f5.6, 200 ISO, 260mm focal length.

Converted using Photoshop CS2, warmed up a little, sharpened, darkened the background a little, and hey presto. Here you go.

Any and all comments are welcome.

A tricky task to achieve but you have managed to turn the ordinary into an artistic image by capturing the texture and light, and then presenting it so well.

Nice lighting on this. Not easy to make such a mundane subject look as interesting as this. Well done

I like the way the light and shadow pick out the structure.
